“One of the best parts of being human is other humans. It’s true, because life is hard; but people get to show up for one another, as God told us to, and we remember we are loved and seen and God is here and we are not alone. We can’t deliver folks from their pits, but we can sure get in there with them until God does.”
Jen Hatmaker, “For the Love: Fighting for Grace in a World of Impossible Standards” (2015)
The Saints Justice Ministry Collective is welcoming new Justice Ministry Network Members this Monday, November 13, at 7:00 PM at Christ the King Catholic Church 2777 E Livingston Ave. 43215
It’s going to take serious people power to take on a new problem. Based on the stories heard, Team Members narrowed down the problem categories to be voted on at the Annual Assembly to the three below:
Housing 🏘 Crime 🚨Education 📚
Now that we’ve shared in sacred listening and heard the problems impacting our community, it’s time to act! The Annual Assembly is an opportunity to continue building people power, have our voices heard in deciding which problem to take on, and build momentum for the Nehemiah Action.
NEW this year, UBER GROUP RIDES SCHOLARSHIPS from St. Mathias and back. Do not let the dark drive stop you.
Reserve your free group ride by calling Mary Counter 614 459-8133 by Sunday, November 12.
Sincerely in PEACE, LOVE, and JUSTICE.
