Are you looking for a small group experience to deepen your faith during Lent? Join us for a weekly study beginning February 7. We will meet online on Wednesdays through March 20, skipping Ash Wednesday (February 14). The final meeting may be in person with the location to be determined. Register here.
We have chosen the book, Journey to Jerusalem by Father Mark Villano. He is a Paulist who spent some time at the Newman Center at Ohio State University. You can order the book from Liturgical Press or Amazon.

Words of Scripture. Symbols of faith. Do you ever wonder what they really have to do with you? Can they truly help to interpret human experiences and change hearts? Does the metaphor of life as a journey make sense to you?
Mark A. Villano’s latest book offers a path into questions like these. Delve into the spiritual insights that have guided human beings for millennia in order to better appreciate the significance and power they hold. Discover more about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, who meets us where we are and guides us along the diverse spiritual landscapes of life. The invitations of grace are all around us. We’re all called to participate in the life-changing mystery of Christ. Consider this book as a daily “retreat,” an invitation to let go of the noise around us and to simply listen. See it as a traveling companion on the most important journey of our lives.
This study, led by lay persons, has been organized by the Scripture Study Committee of the former Newman Center group. The small group leaders will be Dan Beale and Chuck Camp. Registration will be limited to the first 30 participants. All are welcome – Catholics, non-Catholics, young and old. Contact Cindy for questions and more information.
